About saving precious time

Spoke to a local landscaper who at that time was mowing with commercial mower called WALKER. It is yellow and has the big grass plastic grass catcher behind the operator.

According the operator he said that while he was mowing he was also trimming around the property and edging the walkways without getting off the mower. He said that he cut down his time per property about 70% and there is no need for another person to do the trimming and the edging.
The only thing that he has to do is to blow the walkways.

In other words the machine has the attachments for trimming and edging.

It was pretty impresive so I wonder now about paying all that money for help when the righ mower will do it all ????

Nelson, did you actually see this machine do all these things? Also has a hot plate on the back for sandwiches and coffee, and a programmable guidance system, all you do is start it, it backs itself off the trailer cuts the lawn, pulls back onto the trailer and waits further instructions. Has to have an operator in seat for safety/union reasons.

Look up Walker mowers on the Internet and get the real info.

 

Dont know about the edging part but they do have a trimming attatchment.
Not sure how effective that might be. I am sure there are places that a fixed weedwacker could not get to. And then you would have to do it by hand anyway.

Yes I did see the machine. I saw the trimmer attachment. I did not see the edger attachment but I do not see a reason why this person would lie about it.

At that time he was mowing a commercial property and the trimmer was on.
So guess what. It is out there you just do not know enough about it.

 

Be careful about your ignorance. I think you are the one in the wrong biz.
Maybe you need to look around and really see what's out there.
