I posted this elsewhere and got no results... I hope this area will get a bite or two.

I read on another ZTR forum, where a fella added an oil cooler to a Ferris IS2000 because he had read that an oil cooler was standard on the IS3100.

That started me to thinking. What would the advantage to having an oil cooler on the commercial ZTR mowers, and what would be the cost.,..?? Can an oil cooler be added to any commercial model (Hustler, Gravely, Exmark, Scag...etc)

It would seem to me if the cost is under $100, it would be well worth it, if it insured "cooler operation" in the south where we experience hot summer days....

    What do you think.......???

I assume you are talking about a hydralic oil cooler and not engine oil???????

oppss ..... Yes, an oil cooler for the hydraulics..... Will it pay (over time) to add an oil cooler to a new ZTR (like the ferris IS2000). Any idea what the cost might be....??
