Adjusting electric trailer drum brakes... how?
I have a '08 Starbrite 16' tandem axle landscape trailer (7,000 GVW, 3,500 per axle) that I need to adjust the brakes on. I have to turn my Prodigy brake controller up to 5.5-6 to get the brakes to start to lock up (used to only have them at 1.2 or so), so I'm assuming they need to be adjusted to acommidate for brake shoe wear. My question is- how do I do it? What tools do I need? How hard to do?
