Anybody use this OCDC ? We need to put a OCDC on two Toro 560's.
Mine works fairly well.
Two things I don't like.
1. Needs a notch or cam to "partial" block.
2. Blocking plate is straight. Needs an additional wrap around plate for rear of discharge opening. Not a big deal to add.
Overall, heavily made and works ok.
Type in "ocdc" on ebay. Bought mine for 80.00 . Normally I think they're about 200.00
Junk, the handle just broke off for the 3rd time on mine. The steal plate has cracked. Has alwsy been too hard to open, doesn't matter how much grease you put on it. Just too universal. I'm sure they work well for the Bad Boy mowers since thats what they are really designed for but i know on a John Deere they are total crap. I can show some picks for the ones that think I'm making this up.
I've been using a Quik-Chute for 2 years, no probs at all.
Blade Blocker from Timmer Trap - just installed mine and it works great and is well made. - john
