advice on buying commercial mower

    i have a chance to buy a John Deere 54 inch walk behind commerical mower. It is a 2000 gs 75, that was seldomed used. It is in great shape. It is not a hydrostactic. They are asking 2,000 dollars for it. Do you think this a good deal? Please help!!!

    Seems a little on the high side for a 5-6 year belt drive. 1000 to 1200 seems a litle more in line and that would be at the high end.

    Also agree thats way to high for a 5 year old belt drive. Id say around a 1000 tops also, if not a little less.

    if it isn't a hydro, I agree with the rest, maybe $1,000 to $1,200

    way to high for me.maybe$800-1000.john deere isn't real popular in my area on the commercial end
