I'm in Connecticut and was looking for some suggestions on fertilizer and conditioning for winter.

I heard to feed roots before winter that potassium is good, like 10-20-20... and too really green up now... something with iron like 33-0-0. A local landscaper here told me Lesco has and iron product with like 20% iron... Is this true and where can I get it? Like Lowes or HD?

Also does anyone have a brand name for the potassium product 10-20-20?

Or does anyone have better products or mixtures for the new england area this time of year?

    Any advice is appreciated... Thanks.

We are in Maine and we are using 7-2-12 from Nutrients PLUS. Its a nice last application fertilizer and spreads really well, also it incorporates organic matter into your soils. Hit me up if you need any more information and I can point you to a local rep.
