Need some advice on a new walk behind mower. I currently only own a John Deere lawn tractor, 38 inch, non-commercial. I use it for my lawn and a few others. For 2004 I have lined up some commercial accounts and I am expanding to a solid lawn business. I am purchasing a ZTR, but for a 2nd mower, should I keep the John Deere lawn tractor for those small yards or get a commercial walk behind?

For your smaller mowers (non ZTR's) what kind of walk behinds do you use and what size.

Is there anything wrong with using a John Deere lawn tractor for the smaller lawns?

    Thanks, really appreciate your feedback.

I had an LT133 when I started my lawn business. I got rid of it real quick, I still got another JD though. I would get a commercial WB. When time is money, the non-commercial mowers just don't do the job.

Did you not say your getting a ZTR?

What advantage would a tractor have over a ZTR?

And If your using a tractor for smaller areas?
