Sue, this time of the year a lot of dealers have what the call around here, An Open House and run specials on their products. Call around to all the dealers and see if they are doing this where you live. The mower companies have their sales Reps. there and offer discounts for the day too. I hope this helps.

----------
Eric@ELM
sorry don,t mean to keep bothering you. but have been checking into the Toro Zmaster Z350 series out front ztr. they say they weigh 1200lbs w/hopper, this seems like alot of weight to put on a lwan wouldn't it sink? thanks

Sue,
If the ground is soft or wet or both, yes it could sink down and leave marks. But if the ground's pretty dry and it hasn't just rained, it's probably fine.
-Nicole

the grounds here are wet most of the time, so i guess this model wouldn't be good to buy?

Sue, if the tires are wide, they will float over soft ground pretty good. You mentioned Exmark, I have some prices here. 48 inch Lazer HP 19HP Kaw. for $5995 and the 60 inch Lazer ZTR 25HP Kohler for $7595. 60" Deluxe Chopper with 25HP Kohler, $8895.

----------
Eric@ELM
Sue, unless you absolutely need a machine to bag grass there are a lot of machines out there that will out perform a Walker. They are very good for bagging and mulching leaves, but I believe the handwriting is on the wall for bagging clippings. MHO, Lynn
