Recently purchased a house on 3 acres and am interested in purchasing a low end commercial lawn mower. Ideally I would like to buy a zero-turn-riding mower. With that in mind, I have been scanning postings for information, recommendations, comments... etc (great web site). Ideally I would like to be able to cut the 3 aces in about one hour. Not to many tress and there is a moderate slop. There is a local tractor dealer five miles from my house that sells Exmark, Kubota and Scag. I have somewhat narrowed my search to the following: - Scagg Tiger Cub - Kubota ZD - Exmark Laser HP Looking at a 50" to 60" deck with a powerful engine. Can't get anything bigger (deck size), because it wont fit in my shed. The local dealer has a Tiger Cub 61" deck with a 25HP engine for $6699. Is this a good price? Any idea what the Laser HP or Kubota ZD might cost? Pros / cons to any of these? Planning on testing these over the weekend, but was hoping someone might be able to provide some guidance as to which one might be better. Your help is greatly appreciated.
