I am not new to the landscape industry but I might be new to owning my own business in the near future. Want I want to know is what kind of advertising existing businesses find to be most effective. I live nearest to a town of around 12,000 people, and within one hour of two cities 75,000 plus. I realize that advertising effectiveness and price will be different in each place, and I know that word of mouth is very powerful, but it wont be enough to grow a business to the place I want to see it go. What is your opinion.

fliers, door hangers, cold calling, direct mailings, door to door sales, newspaper, phone book, etc. I use multiple venues to find new customers

    Hi bigandy,

I would suggest flyers too. As you are in business longer, you may find word of mouth to drive more customers your way.
