What do you guys think yields the best results?
    1) Aerating and then immediately overseeding with a slit seeder
    2) Aerating, waiting a week before overseeding with slit seeder

In our area we overseed commericial properties each year with rye grass. The process includes cutting the grass down to dirt with baggers. Next we simply broadcast the seed and water for three times a day for 7 days and we get perfect coverage each time. Nothing but mowers and spreader needed.

I've done it this way too and had good results. I've done it with aerators and slit seeders and had good results too. I prefer the mower/spreader way...
