So I have a new 40" Toro hydro floating deck with pistol grips and am wondering if there is any way to use this to aerate my lawn. Otherwise I will have to borrow a 4 wheeler or riding mower to pull an aerator or rent a self propelled aerator which is way more $$$.

Rent a self propelled core aerator...if the one you are planning on pulling with 4 wheeler is a spike aerator don't even bother.

Yeah I'm comming to the conclusion that I need to just rent a WB, the first place I called has a Ryan (not sure what model) for $80 a day. I definintely want to rent the one with the fingers that aerate not just the wheel of cores like the cheaper models.
