This is my first season that I'm offering Aerating as one of my many services. I really know nothing about it, how to do it properly and how much to charge but I'm sure it's not rocket science. The lawn takes me about 15 minutes to mow it, how much would you charge for a lawn this size? Any tips would be great.

Charge them the same as a weekly mowing...

    Are you kidding?

My prices for aeration are almost 3 times as much as a regular mowing.

For a 5000 sq ft yard I charge about $75.00 for aeration.

Aerating sucks. Get good money for it. The machines are not cheap to buy or rent so charge accordingly.

I agree. Lots of wear and tear on the mower too with the heavier aerators. Most customers don't know its not rocket science:)
