After the Warranty Expires

    Do you guys sell your equipement or just pay out of pocket for repairs?

    I try and do as much of the repairs myself as possible. Really the only things I cannot work on in the engine. everything else is pretty easy to do IMO. so I would keep my mowers till they died.

    Same here as Raven. I run them in the ground. Changing oil, hydro fluid is pretty straight forward. Sharpen blades, change belts I can handle, but any engine issues it goes to the dealer and I pay out of pocket.

    Most commercial equipment will continue to work as normal for several years after the warranty has bit the dust. I continue to run my equipment until repairs start being more often than not. I do all maintenance myself to cut down on costs and only go to shop if the repair is something I cannot handle.
