air gap setting

    I replaced the coil on a 8 hp tecumseh engine. I need the gap setting between the coil and the flywheel magnite

    I believe it's .010 inches

    According to what is printed on the standard air gap gauge that is part of the Tecumseh tool kit it should be .0125

    Sorry, I was off by 25 ten thousandths of an inch(.0025). My feeler gauges don't go down that precise.
