    Last week I mulched one of the chain restuarants that I take care of. At the time the owner didn't want any bed edging done. Guess what he ask me to do. Bed edge. So today I pulled back all the mulch, bed eged everything, and re-mulched.

    This is so they can say it was “a wonderful idea telling you to edge those beds wouldn’t you agree and can you wait an extra 60 days to get paid” LOL. Chain managers know food (maybe) not landscape or maintenance of it. Tell him to go cook his “yada yada border cooche mama” lunch special and leave the landscape to you.

    What is the saying about 20/20!

    My comments to him would be based on how bad I wanted to keep this contract next year. :(

    hoss you have to learn to roll with the punches, yes this is extra work and we all know that the beds should have been edged before hand. just charge him a little more than normal, and explain to him that you had to because of the situation.
