We shoot it over the cab and leaf the mess in the rear. 18 hp Billy Goat. Hooked up to Western Ultra Mount brackets. 6” PVC sewer discharge. Box 3/4 ply / treated 2 x 4s, vented roof, side door for branches and barn doors on back. Always looking for a better solution though. Input welcome.

How I’ve been handling the leaves the last few seasons. Quick, cheap and easy- all my favorite bullet points:laugh:

I did the box on the truck today early morning- had a last minute clean up come in.. PVC pipe, mesh tarp, zip ties, all that was laying aroundpayup

Not sure why the pics didn’t load in order....

How much more weight do you think the 35 is than the 16 and is it creating any vision issues for your guys driving? It looks humongous (but awesome). I’ve got an18 mounted up front now. Considering going the same tho g you have.

The billy goat 18 hp is listed at 275 pounds and the 35 is listed at 475 plus the mounting bracket.

I figure it is still less than the weight of a plow.

We retired the switch-n-go truck and now have the 16hp vac on a new truck. Here is a pic of it during fabrication. I will have to post a pic of our trailer jacks with castor wheels as That is how we take them off/on the trucks and move them around. I will also take a pic from the driver seat.

Here is a pic of our small vac that is off the truck and in the shop for the winter. We have a snow ex plow for the truck and just bought another plow frame and had it built off of that.

You guys have a great concept. I’ve been thinking about taking a Western HTS frame and blending it with s Billy Goat. Thoughts,

I’m not sure how the western plow mount works. With the snow-ex there is a little lip that the plow frame connects into and we are getting used to that aspect when we attach/detach. As the other vacs slide right in and out. Other than that it is working good.

with the trailer jacks both have 3 and the further apart you have them the better for stability.
