I have always raved about Tanaka products. But I have been somewhat happy with my Echo 260s as it can run an Edgit, no problem. BUT -- that thing is hard to warm up and is constantly shocking me!

I bought a Stihl FS 90 a couple weeks ago. I trimmed 3 lawns with it. It is WAY too heavy and I hate the way the 4mix runs. That just went back to the store -- exchanged it for a Tanaka 255 PF (which should come in in about a week).

I'll stick with Tanaka from now on. I doubt I'll even consider any other 2 stroke or handheld equipment.

The Tanaka is the best balanced, best power-to-weight, best starting, best running, most nonsense-free (no stupid safety levers on trimmers, for example) equipment out there.
