Allison trans

Has anyone out there put an Allison at545 or other auto in a 1983ish 1 ton? If you have any info let me know.

my brother has a 86 f350 with a 545 behind a 7.3 he works for delta he bought it from them.he loves it. it hangs low from under the frame but it can be done
