am i crazy or..........................

    does stripes show up better when the grass is damp? i cut a lawn today and it looked awesome... best its ever looked and their was still dew on the ground.... responses appreciated...

    either damp long grass or when the grass is dry and you cut it really short. and a striping kit helps :)

    at least thats how it is with my experiences.

    The longer, the more vivid the stripes. If it's wet or damp, same thing.

    Oh, and for your question, I think sometimes they seem to stripe better in the mornings or at least look like it. :waving:

    Water also adds weight to the blades to keep them bent over farther..

    I have always thought lawns look the best when they have been while they are slightly damp.
