What do you guys charge per yard to lay mulch. Lets say the mulch costs $23 a yard. What i was wondering was how much you should charge to lay it into the beds.

well you say you can get the mulch at $23 a yard, is this delievered or do you have to bump a few more bucks up to have it delievered?

anyways, lets say the yard of mulch is delievered @ $23, i'de charge the customer $55 a yard, that bid includes the mulch cost.... so thats $32 worth of labor.... you can easily lay a yard of mulch in 30mins solo..... so thats about $60-65 an hr (1 man hr)....

anywhere from $45 to $70 a yard installed. if they provide the mulch we will blow it in for them for around $25 a yard. of course thats a large scale, but we do a lot of multi hundred yard installs. on residentials that are around 10 yards we try to get $65 yard. gets cheaper the more you get.

Depends also on acsess if you can get to the beds easily or not.Does it have to be dropped in frnt drvwy and applyed in backyard beds?A wide gate?A few cars in the way?,Big mean dog in back that barely misses your leg every time you pass?Old people sitting on porch telling you how to do it?All these come into play when bidding a job.

    A+lawncare, I pay $13.00 up to 24yards delivered, $11.00 25 to 1000yds 99% of my jobs I use between 20 -30 yds, so I always order 25
a yard, last job I just did I needed 975 yrds (7 semi loads ) and they had problems getting it out, wich did not affect me any since I coulnd spread that in one day any ways, they gave me a break at $7.00 a yard if I took a semi load per day instead of all at once :D

p/s had a order 2 months ago, company wanting to know if I could
sell them 1500 yds, 2 hour drive from here, quoted them $25.00
a yard, payed my supplier 13 to include delivery as a token and the
diference when to the coffers with no labor involved but a phone call
thats the type of labor I could get used to real fast payup
