An alternative wall,steps & driveways

This first one is kind of neat, we used a running level along the driveway with a soft coloured stock brick, as the level changed we ran it up and on top of the ragstone wall.

This was just a very large drive around 32000 hand made bricks used on this site - very hard to keep a 45 degree herringbone true when the bricks are all slightly different sizes

These superb , but quite expensive 2 inch setts make a fabulous circular patio, but the cost is often the issue...

This beautiful drive is much cheaper than it looks, the product is fibredec, a combination of hot tar, fibreglass rovings and dry pea shingle, in this case with a triple brick gully, the drive is over 1/2 mile long - the house at the end is a mansion.

This lovely natural brick step, highlights why I try to get my clients to use only natural products ( clay bricks, natural stone etc) somehow the concrete equivalents just don't quite look the same.
