I have been on weekly mowing since last week. We have had some good rains and good temps and grass is growing. I cut a lawn last week and after 7 days it looked liked it had not been cut in a long time. The St.aug was very tall and thick. It is going to be a long hot summer.

Picked up two on regular maintenance, one small estate this week, one small sod job, one decent sod job, one landscape job accepted, lots of estimates given this week for sod and landscape installs, say what you will but the economy is on its way back and you damn well better be ready to take advantage, damn Obummer.....making me work more hours than I would like :) . Across the industry , tile, carpet work, pavers, landscape installs, builders, insurance, medical field ...does not matter who I talk too, everyone says things are booming.

Very little paver, landscape or irrigation. Tons of new basic maintenance with great margins, easier to schedule and in my market many times the most profitable part of the business.

It is good to hear from you guys that things are going so well, especially after years of slow growth in the economy I think we all deserve a little boost for sticking through the rough time:weightlifter:

Bizzness is good. Wish for a little more moisture. Wifey got me a wolfsnout for fathers day. Tired of hacking up pollen and leaves every day.

Business is good down here also. Still seeing a lot of foreclosure and pre-foreclosures. I'm seeing some new construction that has been sitting for years finally getting finished. Been doing a boat load of clean-ups on bank owned properties. I haven't been advertising any for the last year and am still picking up regular customers some see us out and more referrals by our current customers.

Whats your opinion on the wolfsnout? Been thinking about getting a couple for myself and employee. Do you think they will be comfortable enough to wear when the summer gets here? With the summer rains they will be less need because of dust than dryer months but still lots of pollen and clipping debris out there I would like to avoid.
