This is strictly for grass applications.

I'll be using it along fencelines at a school complex, I'm not trying to control the height of someone's whole yard.

I know on the label is says to spray after "trimming".

I have to believe this is so you're not trying to control the length of 6" grass, rather 2 - 2 1/2" grass.

What my question is, since the grass is just starting to turn green here in MN, could I spray Primo when it gets to a height that I desire, before even trimming and still control the height?

It's mode of action doesn't have anything to do with "opening" the grass blade by trimming, that's just on the label so someone isn't, like I said, trying to control 6" grass, correct?

Primo doesn't control turf heights,it just slows down the growth rate and reduces mowing frequency.I would wait till turf is no longer dormant and growing b-4 applying.I have never applied to dormant turf.No need to add iron to primo.Color holds very well.
