Another 'Which Mower Should I get'

I have a number of sites that I maintain, ranging from 1 acre to about 10 acres.

Most have plenty of obstacles and hills (and even some rocks).

I've been using a Kubota ZG327 and it gets the job done but I'd sure like something that gets it done quicker and without needing to go over the area a couple of times.

I have diesel on site and would prefer not having to worry about gummed carbs.

A couple of the sites have substantial slopes (15-20 degrees).

I'd sure appreciate an analysis of which to buy among these:

Scag Turf Tiger
Ferris IS 2600 or 6200
Grasshopper either 325D or 725DT
Gravely Pro-Turn

Thank you!

If possible you might demo and consider a Hustler Super Z Hyperdrive 72” with Vanguard 37 EFI.

Also, don't overlook the new Wright ZXT 72” with Vanguard 40 hp EFI/ETC. These come standard with Oil Guard 500 hr oil change interval and 1000 hr hydraulic oil change interval. These mowers also have no grease zerks. As close to maintenance free as you can get.

Great advice -- thank you to all.

Turns out the closest dealer is a SCAG dealer (30 minutes away).

Then there are dealers for JD, Hustler and Kubota about 45-50 minutes away.

Wright, Vanguard, Ferris and Grasshopper have no dealers anywhere near me.

Looks like I'll be focusing on the SCAG model.

Has anyone used a Turf Tiger on a steep slope?

I would be more interested in getting the exact mower I want than how close or far the dealer is located.

My dealer is 75 miles away.

My previous 2005 Hustler Super Z was never returned to dealer for any reason during 1200 hrs. pf use.

My current Hustler Super Z Hyperdrive 72” 37 hp. EFI has 685 hrs. as of yesterday and has been flawless.

After you demo a Scag, Demo the Hustler Hyperdrive and tell me which is most comfortable with smoothest hydraulics. It's a no brainer.

I think he wanted a diesel mower.

I really want to run a hyperdrive. I'm going to demo one at GIE this year. They seem like amazing machines
