Just bought an enclosed trailer to be setup as a hardscape unit. Only problem is, I have to store it at a storage lot. What devices work the best to help deter
    the criminal element?

It has a ball hitch, tandem axles, rear ramp and a 48 inch side door.

    Let me know.

not sure if this would work, for you or not but check it out, i have one on my snowmobile and it works great, you do need a battery possiably just to run this alarm... has contacts to put on your doors (alarm sounded when opened).also some models (mine does) have a senistivity control, alarm goes off if unit is shook( vibrated) check it out...

Bury a soaker hose around it and keep it damp, then run a 110 wire and attach it to the frame! Just kidding. Man, I'd be a nervous wreck thinking about it. You can put a nice lock for the coupler that goes into the ball area and wraps around the top, I have one of those. An alarm for the interior would also be a must have. The 110 wire is the only sure thing though!

Back it up to a building or fence at night to keep thieves out of the trailer.

Take it to a weld shop/fabricator and have them make some kind of sleeve to put over the coupler or buy a GOOD coupler lock from a manufacturer. You may also check into those boot type locks that go on a wheel.

No matter what you do if someone wants it bad enough, they will get it.

I saw a kit in the summit racing catalog that you can wire yourself. It is designed for use in a trailer.
