Just wondering if theres anyone thats ahead of the rest in the walk behind category. I'm thinking about getting one cause my 61" Ferris is too big and heavy for some areas and one PITA hill. I would imagine its pretty much the same as the ZTR's where there are many brands good enough to make it a personal preference. How are Ferris ones since I have the Ferris Z? Thanks for any info.

no knowledge about the ferris, but i love my tthp and i loved my scag belt drives. i dont care much for the JD w/b. i like the toro w/ the t-bar controls, easy to run and no wrist pain. i didnt care for the gravely i demoed either, the pro-steer controls we're great, but i wasnt impressed at all w/ the cut. if you get the exmark get the ecs controls, i just ordered the ecs upgrade kit for mine. my wrists will be thanking me soon. stay away from pistol grips. they're horrible on the wrists.

I sure like my 17hp Exmark 48"TTHP floating deck.

I should have got the electric start 19hp instead though.

I tried a few when I was looking and I finally bought my Exmark Turf Tracer HP. Love it.

    I'll say scag, or toro.

But my next new walkbehind will probably be an everride wasp.

It's an ariens mower. They are tough as nails an extremely affordbable
