Any Fert Guys in Or round Rochester ny

    Hey i am looking to get into this line of work next year. To hopefully increase the money i make. I just want to know what the best plan really is for starting up around here. How do i go about getting a dealer to get my fert from. Where can i get my signs made? All the help on any aspect of this side of the buis would be appreciated. Thanks

    Well for starters, have you looked at the legal side of it yet. Such as a pest. license? If you don't have that, than there is much to talk about!

    Same here. (We get out lawn signs from RND out of Minneapolis).

    You need to have a customer base to draw from. Word of mouth might be your best asset. (if your lawns look good)

    You better be honest & hard-working too. You better be a quick learner and not make many mistakes -- especially when it comes to chemicals & fertlizers.

    Start out small. Keep your route density tight. Gas ain't cheap. Rely on yopu local chemical company (hopefully you have a LESCO nearby).
