I recently junked my POS eXmark and bought a Grasshoppper.

I was wondering how often (if at all) you grease your grease certs?

When changing the oil, where is the oil drain plug located?

Does anyone know anyone who wasts to get rid of their Grasshopper Vacuum System of thatching system?

    Let me know ya'll

Funny you should ask I have a 225 with a bagging system. I love it and wouldn't hesitate to purchase another if needed. I have 180 hrs on mine and it hasn't had any issues. The bagging system is dusty as hell but it works like a charm.

The greasing of the 5 zerts. hmmmmmm I do mine every 2 weeks rather they need or not. I only give 1 to 2 pumps a piece. Seems to work out fine.

Oil drain is a screwdriver fitting on the side of the block with a tube running under the mower to hit the drain pan.

Hope your as happy with your purchase as I.

Machine should be greased about every 25 hours. About 4 or 5 pumps in each spindle is enough. A couple of pumps into each front wheel fitting is good there.
