I work a part-time job for a printing company that shares a building with a company that fabricates marble and granite countertops. They throw lots of small and even some good-sized hunks (anything from 4" x 24" to 18" x 30")of the granite away after they've cut what they need from the slab. They said I'm welcome to any that I see in the scrap pile. I'd like to do some kind of project for my own yard with it, just to see how it turns out. Maybe later on down the line, if I get a contractor's license I can do something profitable with it, but the only idea I can come up with is a walkway. Can anybody think of anything more inventive than that? Thanks.
