Not yet, Didn't know there was a business in it. Now I am starting my research, what kind of things done and will this area support that business. Hence wanting to see pictures of the work ya'l do so I can get an idea.

looks good. I wanted to do that to my own house this year, still might. I already have over3500 minis on the house and yard plus several siouetts, santa, snowman that kinda thing. I make those and paint them in detail. Got a 4.5' 8point star with 200 lights in it alone. I love Christmas.

These are of my own house, over 3500 mini lights, The Sleigh and reindeer, snowman, star and santa I made and painted. As you can tell, I prefer colored lights

Can anyone give some insight as to how you go about hanging most roof-lines. Are they done while actually on the roof? Or by ladder. It seems there are spots where neither could be done with a pretty steep pitch on the roof.

Maybe I should hire a roofer for next season. I will work off a ladder but getting on the edge of a roof with a good pitch is not what I want to be doing.

Thanks and those roof lines look great!!

In the bottom pic, on the steep pitched areas I put the ladder direct against the shingles but I kinda maneuvered it so i could still put the lights on. On other parts we had to use a high quality ladder stand off.

But yeah I don't like it either but I made sure to have a experienced ladder guy footing it.

Never let a unexperienced ladder guy foot your ladder. You be better off tying ropes so your ladder can't move.

First time doing a pic here hope it works....this house is all LED's, c-9, garland and minis.
The bulbs that look like they are out on the roof are hidden behind trees in the front yard

It looks like all you guys got one straight up in the peak and then had them evenly spaced down the peak on both sides. I HATE looking at lights that don't match across the gables and aren't straight up in the peaks. It makes me wanna go rip them down and do them myself. There is nothing worse than sloppy hanging lights.
