Curious if anyone has problems with motor/pump assembly (I think that they are moto/pump assemblies). I was looking at a Hustler Fastrak Super Duty and it has the ZT 2800's. They are supposed to be a common commercial set-up. Anyone have experience with them? Are they any good? What is the drawback of having them versus seperate motor and pump. Thanks!

From all the reps I talked too back in my lawnmower shop days, they all spoke highly of the reliability of the ZT trans. You are correct they are a unitized construction. However they are much louder, and more "sloppy" then a pump and motor. You also have easier maintenance, but two filters, etc. I still like pump and motor set-ups, but i think in a few years they will have gotten the unitized guys up to par with the pump/motor set-up.
