guy wants me to topdress his 2 acre yard with peat...I HATE working with this stuff....its like trying to spread baby powder!

Any helpful hints on doing this??...I really don't want to have to dump and hand rake this whole yard...thanks

Have you looked at the earth and turf topdressers, they will spread peat no problem and can be pulled by a mower as they are ground drive. Try

Many companies that do hydroseeding and mulch blowing can also blow peat and compost. Sub it ?

What good will topdressing a lawn with peat moss do? The only thing I have ever used peat moss for is to cover lawn seed so that it will grow. But as just a topdressing isn't that a waste of time and money?

Why did you waste a new thread with this and not just reply to Kitzy's not too far down on the same page?

I merged these two threads together.
I think sometimes new members or even members that don't post here frequently don't realize that they are starting a new thread. They just think they are replying.
