Anybody using the new Arena for grubs and other sub-surface insect control??
We're just taking delivery of Arena now & have select LCO applicators & Golf Courses building it into their programs. I also have a client who will be implementing Arena into their fall Tree & Shrub program so we won't see those results until 2007.
We can't use any insecticides on Golf courses in Ariz
What do you use instead? I had a customer try and explain "holistic lawn care" Basically sit around and think happy thoughts and you won't have any problems!! Her yard looked like a$$
.5 G in 25# bag is $65.00
2X40 OZ. CASE IS $1400.00
i think merit and talstar is cheaper..
Even with cute names like Arena?
Thes manufacturers make me laugh with these politically correct names.
I emailed you some Arena information & the applied cost was comparable to Merit alone.
I have sold the product to several lco and gc's for this up coming season. The largest thing with this product is the broad window of application. With 1 application rate on the lco side, the cost is close to what you would pay for merit alone.
can you break down that cost for me on both granular and liquid?
my target is adult chinch bugs and grub..
with the numbers you gave me $65 for .5G and $1400 for 50WDG and the rate you need to go for ADULT Chinch bugs, you get the following:
.5G at 66.67 lbs/acre = 2.6 bags x $65 = $173.34/acre
50WDG at 8oz/acre = 10 acres/case / $1400 = $140/acre.
Now what are you paying for Talstar gran/liquid and Merit gran/liquid?
