I live in a town that has quite a large lake
Over 200 miles of shoreline, and very nice houses, with beaches covering around 40% of it.

The city does the big beaches with there large tow behind machine but as soon as they hit a dock its like a private beach and the cant get past. I would say we have around 1000 beach homes maybe more.

There is a machine out there sold by Hbarber that cleans the sand and makes the beach beautiful. Anyone have one or run a beach cleaning business?

Alot of guys doing privet beaches up here will use a drag mat used for doing grooming baseball/softball infieilds. You can pull them with a tracktor or atv. Some guys will go the cheaper route and use a section of chainlink fence. It will smooth out the sand and any trash/debris will get caught up in it.

I tried advertising this but I got one call to clean it up before a party. For the price of the machine, I would wait till you have the customers to back up the price of the machine. A rake does the same thing just a little slower. Also remember you may not be able to use the machine on every beach due to landscaping or large hills.

Grand Rapids Michigan...... I used to go Lansing all the time.
Curious what beaches were you going to clean up there?

Before I buy it was thinking about doing up a nice beach cleaning flyer and putting it out to a couple hundred homes that would need my service about a month before it gets nice, and just see how many calls I get.

This is a tough call. But.... 1000+ homes with beachs and everyone's taxes are in between $10,000-$30,000 a year these people have the $250-$450 to make there beach look great.

I live in the Ada/Lowell area, so I advertised from dean lake in plainfield up to sand lake and out to the multiple lakes in ionia and south to caledonia area.

Where you from? Some of the lakes around here aren't accessible with the machine you are posting above. Murry lake in lowell is a prime example over half the lake sits right next to a hill.

I'm in Washington state on the west coast.
My brother lived in Lansing and I always took trips up to Canada once I arrived.
This machine is a tough call.
