Concrete borders around 1/3 of them they are a pain to mow and trim!
What kind of grass where u located ?
Fescue and bermuda primarily. Missouri
I used msma and msm to cut down all the bahayia grass and weeds. Mostly under control. Hard to kill Bermuda grass with chemicals. I also have a lot of centipede but that chokes out weeds on its own.
You’ve lost me. I don’t think the OP is trying to kill the grass around the headstones or keep the cemetery weed free. He was looking for ways to reduce labor and increase efficiency. Which is why I suggested a growth regulator to reduce the amount of trimming he does on a weekly basis.
I used to be on a crew that did the 3rd largest cemetery in Michigan. 12 man crew, 6 mow guys, and 6 whip guys. I was the whip guy. It sucked.
I guess I was saying that if you kill weeds and keep the good grass it won’t look so raggedy. I cut mine once a month so by killing the bayhayia helps out. Anyone who cuts bahayia hates that grass other than a farmer for hay.
