Anyone Ever Enclosed a Natural Spring/Bubbler/Seep?

    I would almost opt to try to turn it into a pondless waterfall system. Where the spring daylights I would dig a little under it, install a 45 mil EPDM liner, line it with rocks on the edge and gravel down the middle. Make it meander back and forth like a natural stream. At the bottom create a pondless basin with a vault for the pump. Run the piping alongside the outside of the liner buried in the soil. Install a waterfall spillway just above the existing spring so that it all looks natural. Have a short waterfall go over the existing spring and recirculate through the pondless basin. Biggest issue would be directing an overflow for when the natural spring is flowing heavy.

    That's a good idea. I had wondered if I could make a circulating system.
