Anyone is from TN area on what your thoughts for 2023 season is?

We as offer many options for our clients over the years but I believe this year we are going to back down to only a handful of options for everyone as inflation has over stayed its welcome!

Seems to be plenty of work, especially in maintenance. Knoxville's residential market is booming so it should be a good year for the Green Industry here, provided one can get enough help.

“We” that’s even funny saying that used to offer everything just about from mowing to sod to seed to landscaping and light hardscaping. Mulch installs, Etc. building landscaping beds. No more we concentrate on a few of the most profitable.

We are in middle tn area, business is always up and down here. so many low ballers but we know what greatness is. There seems to be plenty of folks wanting to have services but not everyone is on the same track!

Customer gets a fixed price on mowing as well as Chem apps. Anything else is by the man hour.

Mowing , apps , sod and most landscaping is a set price. Leaf clean ups is on hourly wage. Learned that the hard way up here.

I just got my license. Gotta get your CEUs if you don’t have experience or schooling. Then get certified then license and charter. It’s some hoops to jump through but hopefully worth it. Call the tn dept of ag and ask for kathy. She is the lady in charge of licensing.

I’d stock away around 1.5-2.5k for associated costs. Classes included.

I do maintenance only. Sub out chemicals/fert to a friend.
