Got stuck in a septic field this week.
Should have walked it first. IMG_20190409_144627.jpg
Carry an old climbing rope just for this issue.

I have bar tires on my machine. It makes a big difference but when it’s stuck it’s really stuck.

Carry a couple fence planks when you think you are going to be running on pudding lawns. Saved me a few times.

I got the mower and the truck stuck in a yard one day. What a mess. Thankfully the customer was cool and easy going. I fixed the damage for free of course.

Getting stuck is just part of the fun!

I don’t have a pic cuz I wasn’t trying to document my ignorance but yeah, I buried my 61” ZTR on the busiest street in town. Commercial acct on the corner in front of WalMart. Has a drainage ditch that runs through it. I usually run about 2’ off of it and everything is good but not last year. Found myself a soft spot and was deck deep in sludge before I even knew what happened. Luckily my ratchet strap reaches from that spot to the tow hooks on my truck in the parking lot. Jacked up the mower, released the hydros, pulled it out with the truck and back to business. Of course it was rush hour so everyone heading to work got a show at the 4 way stop light. Fun stuff!

lol. Yes always great to have an audience when you make an error. I had a job many years ago as a heavy equipment operator and one day when we were working at a school I slid a scraper/pan off the side of a big pile. Right at dismissal time and I think every teacher in the building came out to watch and take pictures as other equipment had to come over to assist me off of the pile. Meanwhile had to listen to the boss degrade me on the cb the entire time. lol. fun days.
