22,000 GVW, "big" alison trans...the LCT2200, and the duramax.

Right now it is a chassis-cab, will have an enclosed landscape van put on it. Will keep you posted.

It has 4.78:1 gears and 19.5" tires. The chassis/cab weighs around 9500lbs and it really scoots...beat a 2002 F350 Powerstroke crew-cab dually at stoplight derby 3 seperate times. The Ford junker was a 6-spd manual.

I would really like to see a pic of one of these new kodiaks with a dump bed on it. I would really like to see one with a dump bed pulling an enclosed trailer.

You are comparing a two different trucks the GM has almost 10,000 lbs higher gvw then your Ford. The fact that the ford was a crew cab, and a Cand C truck your legal payload was probably almost nothing. The GM will be a better truck because of its higher gvw, bigger wheels and better breaks. It is not fair to blame it on the manufacture when you the buyer bought the wrong truck from the start.

why not just go with an International 4700 or whatever the newer ones are can get them pretty much at any weight rating you want and they are as solid as you can get for a single parts are readily available everywhere.
