Any idea on whether the Shindaiwa Speed-Feed makes a head for the Tanaka 230 Trimmer?

They only make two speed feed heads, and, with the proper adaptor kit, you can use them on other brands. They have the original "large" head, and now they have a new "small" head to fit lighter duty trimmers.
They make adaptor kits for Stihl, Echo, and Redmax. They do not offer a kit for Tanaka. There are so few Tanaka machines out there, compared to the other major brands, that they probably do not feel they could sell enough adaptors to make it worth the trouble.
It is possible that one of the other adaptors will work on a Tanaka machine. However, I have never seen a Tanaka, so I can not tell you if that is possible or not.
