I've had a Microsoft Office 2007 powered website for over a year. All of a sudden it is not accessible from the web. Been into my administration panel where I edit site pages. Thought maybe some html connected to photos used has been moved. But I removed most of them and it's still not working. Have an email into support but it's Sunday so I'm not sure they will respond today. Just thought maybe someone has a comment. www.danslawncare.com

Microsoft's claims that you can make a web page or site with Word or Publisher are well...greatly exaggerated if not totally false. Both use a strange brew of Microsoft only "code" that doesn't resemble a regular web site (html) at all so the odds of getting good results this way are almost 0 plus you can't do anything like meta tags or such to help search engine results. It will also only display properly on Microsoft's browser (Internet Explorer) when it does so that eliminates almost 30% of Internet users who are getting smart and using Firefox or Opera.

So go with a host with a great site building program or buy even a mediocre site building program for your PC. The worst you can do with either of those will be better than Word.

And if your host doesn't answer support on Sunday...you might want to try a "real" host too. Most of us measure support response time in minutes or maybe at worst hours...not days.

PS: Just looked and you are not using Word, you are using Microsoft "Live" their free to low-pay foray into the world of computer dominance, it's better and I at least saw a simple basic site but not so great. I don't use Live except the "freebie" just to play with and watch what they are up to now...I never have got an answer to two support tickets I submitted other than an automated "we will get back to you" response.
