I was contacted by a Service Magic Sales Rep yesterday and everything they offer sounds good...You only pay per lead. I'm tired of fishing out the bad customers and seems like they do a pretty good job sending you only what you want to do...

Do any of you use them to send you leads? If so, how satisfied are you with the service? And is it worth the money?

Never ever pay anyone for a "lead" or "referral". It's most always a scam.

you pay for a bunch of junk and what I would consider false leads. They give you a list of places that you could have drove down the road and got yourself.

Ohhhh hey I just had an IDEA!!!

I get all the calls, drive around all day in my a/c'd sports car listening to techno, give the estimates,
land the jobs, and then I get one of YOU guys to do all the sweaty dirty WORK!

You carry the insurance, you use and keep up all of the equipment, that's all you have to worry about now, hear?
Don't forget to take pictures, so I can be sure the work got done.
Hell yeah dude, then when the customer sends ME the check, after it clears my bank I pay you, ok?

Granted, not quite this line of bs but close enough.

Now why didn't I think of this before I invested in all of the equipment ...
    Golly :dizzy:

It can work, sucks for mowing and other maintenance. Gives you a nice website for free though. Oh and if you do it plan on spending alot of time and money chasing junk leads.
