I was looking to upgrade my electric fertilizer spreader. I saw the JRCO at the GIE and thought it looked great. The motor seem large enough for torque requirements and the electronic motor control is supposedly lots better than a rheostat. Does anyone have feedback with the JRCO model?

No, I don't have one. But my friend does, or I should say did. It became a useless piece of junk due to rust on the cast iron housing by the impeller. The cable constantly got bound up and was difficult to lube. Basically, it was just never as good as he had hoped for. He bought a Lesco truckster for less than 1/3 the price of another Jrco and has been happy ever since. He figures he'll just buy another Lesco when the frame on this one rusts through. He can buy 3 Lesco's to 1 Jrco so how can he go wrong.

I have one and I will agree the control cable is constantly froze up.
