You looking at the star tine?

I used to have old Feldmans that were like that. Self contained like a rotortiller. Actualy the tiller blades were attachments.

Anyway. It's a nice slit aerator that can be done often through out the season and not be unsightly as when coreing.

Core earating will last longer, it will also allow for soil ammendments to go into the cores if you are top dressing.
