Aright all you lighting geeks, it's once again time to make you aware of the place and time where we can all come together...face to face.... to share ideas, see the latest technology, and learn from each other. this forum is awesome, probably the best, but nothing can replace being together, in person. This year could be the best conference location, (alright, maybe not for you professionals in Canada or on the west coast), you still have to purchase a plane ticket...but what an easy airport to fly into...Atlanta, one of the largest in the world and therefore offering the best deals. YES, this years AOLP conference will be held ATLANTA!!!

2013 AOLP Annual Conference & Expo
    February 14-16, 2013
Grand Hyatt Atlanta, GA in Buckhead

    Go to to get registerd
do it soon and take advantage of early registration prices

This years conference is all about business.... your business. Timing is perfect. Bringing professionals like yourselves together to create and build certaintity in what some consider a pessimistic world. Remember, if your truly exceptional at what you do, there will always be someone seeking your service.

I am excited about the upcoming year, money doesn't dissapear, it moves around. you have to place yourself in a position to get the call from those who are succeeding at any particular time. That is just one of the lessons I have learned being a part of the AOLP. Thanks to my membership at AOLP, the education it has offered, gleening from membership at conference, learning/ seeing latest technology offered by manufacturers, our company has grown despite our economic conditions.

Thats whatyou have chanceto achieve...I assume u want to succeed and provide for yourself and/or family. The AOLP has built its membership on this steal from Bill Locklin a little...a lot :) Friends doing business with friends. That was a great line he would share regularly. However, after attending my first AOLP conference, I realized, it's "friends helping friends businesses' grow" That's what we all want, that's what we all need.

I am asking you all to seriously consider coming to Atlanta this Feb. 14th to grow your business. this is the first of many posts to come. we will be updating you on who will attend expo and any other high lights along the way.

    you want to succeed.....join us!!!!

I'm sure this has been brought up by someone else already but do you guys have any idea how much cr@p I've caught over being at a conference for the weekend before (COLD starts Monday so need to get in Sunday), during and the weekend after Valentine's day? :)

Seriously though, please don't do that again. I'm looking forward to the conference but I doubt I'm the only one to catch hell over this and I don't think I could get away with it a 2nd time...

Some of us still have kids in school so we have to leave our valentine's behind... :(

We did have deep discussions about the date Bernie, I promise. Unfortunately, we just could not find a better date that could be scheduled.

I agree with Bernie. Hopefully this can be avoided in the future depending on what day Valentines falls on.

My wife is not bummed out too much. This conference falls near our anniversary and I have had to miss that a couple of times. Just have to be sure to learn something during conference, apply it, and grow your business. That's what's worked for me.
