Ok I still don't have a commercial account but an apartment complex manager calls me to give them a bid on mowing the place. I walked off the entire complex it is approx. 351,000 sq. ft.....right around 8 acres. Just looking at the entire complex (from one corner on top of a hill) it looks like there are approx. 3 to 4 acres to mow. There is a wetland section there that doesn't need mowed, roads and 3 large apartment buildings there. I didn't have a wheel to actually measure all the mowable square footage, and lots of areas are not square, so hard to measure.

Around each building, 3 of them, there are lots to trim around sidewalks, bushes, etc.

What would you guys bid on this complex per mow and trim? And how would you estimate things like running an edger through the complex once a month? Help is greatly appreciated!!

Tell them $ 210.00 plus tax a week (in your area).
