So I am still involved with landscaping and pruning work, but my arborist interest flowed over into the coast redwoods, and that triggered working with photography now of forest, scenery and portraits.

So here are photos of my new unlimited work space ... everywhere.

Mill Creek in Jedediah Smith Redwoods became a print on canvas.

Last week, this woman had her Subaru surrounded by camp gear and food. When I mentioned she needed a Ford Transit van like I use, she continued a conversation, mentioning she had a Fairy costume in the car, and had dreams of a Fairy shoot in the redwoods.

This is my new work vehicle.

I traded in my 2011 Ford F 150 Crew Cab because the Ford Transit matches the new F 150s engine within the 6 cylinder class.

Now I can carry both pruning tools as well as light stands and backdrops. Even drove 4 groomsmen and 4 bridesmaids down the road to take a photo a couple of months ago.

From our son's wedding, this was one I enjoyed ... a boy on a mission.

The weather was perfect for it that day in the forest. Caught a break in the rain with mostly soft light.

Here's a practice shot with 2 remote flash near a downtown railway. A server from the local Panda Express.

    Another favorite.

Love your work...the lighting is always perfect and it's obvious you really enjoy your time in the forest.

I think machines at work could also intrigue me. Here's one of a man field mowing. Next spring, heading for the redwoods, I may spend a good part of the day passing through the Willamette Valley looking for tractors in the fields.
