I have a hard time not laughing at people that just throw this out there. "Dying, meh. Do it all the time. I spend lots of time at the range punching holes in stationary targets at 50 yards, probably never happen anyway 'cuz I'm such a good shot. Did I ever tell you about when I almost enlisted in the Marines? They were going to guarantee me Sniper. Yeah...."

I hate to agree with letting guns flow more freely instead, but...
If guns are outlawed, then only outlaws will have guns,
and so to a point bans work in the criminal's favor.

It might work better instead if they LIFTED the ban on these weapons in Mexico,
because before they lifted the ban here in the US we had the same problem.

Sure did, as you can see it sure slowed down the crime wave in America,
it's when the criminals can carry guns the average citizen isn't allowed to have...

But once every citizen can own any gun they want, what can the criminals do?
Yeah, come on around here with your pistola crapola :p

Perhaps the most important thing our government is missing is that at the time the constitution was written and bill of rights given the deadliest firearm in the world was the American Flintlock rifle. Maybe our forefathers new something that most of us have forgotten. They new governments can get out of control and they wanted the American people to have the most advanced weapon in the world to combat Tyranny and Oppression.

Grass Happens nice paper. In all my time with guns, I have yet to see one just go off and kill someone. Guns do not kill people, people kill people. Take away the guns, they will find a new tool to use. Pretty soon it will be like the schools around here, you will not even be able to own a plastic knife. Don't you think there are more pressing matters that need the politicians attention right know. Maybe they know how much people are begining to see what a lousy job the are doing and are trying to protect themselves.
