Decided to build a leaf vac attachment for the new walker. Using the existing deck duct and custom built vac nozzle. Will also have a place to hook up a 6” vac hose for getting into flower beds. I’ll be back with updates.

I'm looking forward to seeing your progress and the finished product. It seems like an interesting idea. Unfortunately, I have the smaller blower and question if it would have enough suction to pull leaves out of a flower bed.

I won't be surprised if in a few years, you are out out the business of cutting lawns, and instead you are manufacturing and selling products to others on here. I wonder if that is how David Cook who owns Stinger and owned Lawn Solutions, before selling it to Toro, started out?

Tony Bass at Super Lawn Truck started out with a lawn care/ landscaping business.

Do you think that the blower impeller will chop the leaves enough?

I wouldn’t mind that. Welding and custom fabrication is defiantly my line of work. Started when I 6 and grew up in a fab shop building everything from rod iron fences to fire truck for out local vfd. Just never had the money to buy the big equipment to go into business building stuff efficiently enough to keep up with the companies in this town already doing it.
